By using the app you agree to these terms.
The service
Sports Card Price Checker identifies sports cards from a photo and shows
estimated market values based on publicly available sales data.
Prices are estimates, not offers. The values shown are
derived from past sales. Condition, centering, print quality and buyer demand
change what a card actually sells for, often by a lot. Do not base a buying,
selling or grading decision on this app alone. The app does not give
investment advice.
Recognition accuracy
Recognition is automatic and can be wrong. Telling parallels (variants) apart
is particularly hard: cards carrying the same image can differ in value by
several multiples depending on the variant. The app marks any variant it has
not confirmed. Acting on those marks is the user’s responsibility.
Free use and subscription
- Free use includes searching and pricing cards by hand, set checklists
and your collection. Scanning a card with the camera requires a
subscription.
- A Pro subscription unlocks unlimited scanning and additional features.
- Subscriptions are sold and managed by the store the app was installed
from — the Apple App Store on iPhone and iPad, Google Play on Android.
Billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds are governed by that
store’s terms, not by us.
- A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless it is
cancelled. You cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings or your
Google Play account settings, depending on where you bought it.
- The current price and billing period are shown on the purchase screen and
in that store.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service with automated tools or at unusual volume.
- Do not attempt to work around the scan quota.
- Do not extract data from the app in bulk and republish it.
Access may be restricted if these terms are broken.
Content and trademarks
Rights in card images, player names, team names and manufacturer brands
belong to their respective owners. The app is not affiliated with, endorsed by
or sponsored by any card manufacturer, league, team or grading company.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by applicable law,
we are not liable for losses arising from decisions made on the basis of
information shown in the app.
Changes
If these terms change, the date above is updated. Continuing to use the app
means accepting the current terms.
